About the Book

Stan and Jenny wanted to take one last trip together before their first child was born. But when a mysterious storm strikes, Stan and Jenny find out just how ultimate – and permanent – their getaway is.

Stan’s Leap explores what happens when strangers from vastly different backgrounds are forced to survive together with no hope of ever seeing friends or family again. Clashes arise between faith and science, older and younger generations, and unfamiliar cultures.

About the Author

Tom Duerig, a physicist by training, is the president of a medical device company. While he has a long history of scientific writings, this is his first work of fiction. His hobbies include sailing and studying the history of the South Pacific, two intricate elements of this novel.
