About the Book

These essays represent some of the interests of the author. They are meant to show family and friends some of the people, places, and events that have been of major interest to the author, and they represent the areas that reflect his teaching and publishing.

About the Author

Michael (Mike) Timko is Professor Emeritus (English) of the City University of New York. His specialties are Victorian literature (all genres), and he edits DICKENS STUDIES ANNUAL. He is author of several book and numerous articles. He is currently doing freelance work. He has a lovely wife, three wonderful children (and in-laws) and eight terrific grandchildren.
