Maximo Zeledon was born in Nicaragua and raised in northern California. He graduated from San Francisco State University and completed his graduate work at The Johns Hopkins University. His work has appeared in a variety of magazines and online publications, including businessweek.com. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Danja and daughter Vania.
