About the Book

The rockstar MX starts with less than nothing. Forced into situation after situation out of his control MX creates the band Watchful Blonde, and hopes for the true love to find him, while he endures the trials of fame and success. He attempts to handle situations with grace in the eyes of the everpresent Watchful Blonde, who's just a fan of the band with little time for contemplation or recourse. Grace usually turns out to be impossible, lending to an excellent combination of comedy and irony, while telling an overdue story of rock stardom.

About the Author

Matthew Dembro earned a BA in English from UMass Amherst and a MS in CS from Tufts University, and plays in a rock band by the name of this book. He lives in Massachusetts.
