About the Author

Mary Wilhoit was born and raised in Water Valley, Mississippi, and spent her early years just a little south of ?Faulkner country.? Later, she taught many years in a small Alabama university. In 1993, she undertook the task of caring for her mother, who had developed Alzheimer?s.
