Mary Christofano was born Mary Ward on July 4, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Mary has lived in the Southwest Florida area for over thirteen years. She has one son named David, born in 1971 and presently serving in the United States Coast Guard. Mary has a strong interest in the dynamic of aging and has read many books relating to the subjects she presents in this book. Having experienced life as an over fifty year old woman, her goal is to change the negativity about aging and present a new positive approach to this subject.
