About the Book
I try to show my appreciation of life by the way I choose to live each day. In the classroom I take my job seriously and do all I can to provide a meaningful curricular program for my students. June of 2005 will be my tenth AIDS ride and I plan to participate until there is no further need to do so. I pray, meditate and try to be aware of each and every life giving breath I take. I show respect to my family and friends and always look for ways in which to improve myself. Mostly I am exceedingly grateful for who I am. I thank God for making me the way I am and do my best to always respect myself. I can honestly say that I am very happy just to be me and that I have no need to alter any of my physical features. I consistently express my gratitude to my heavenly Father for all that I am.
