What A Mother Says is a collection of truths inspired by Juanita Pittman-Brown's observations and personal experiences in interacting with her children and experiencing life. Juanita's aphorisms share the foundation of her personal life and all that she has learned as a mother. In an effort to pass on the legacy of her life experiences, she has shared in this body of work long-term truths which were born out of growing up with a rich southern heritage and mothering her two sons.

Juanita Pittman-Brown is an inspirational poet and is the author of Words in Bloom. She is a noted native South Carolina poet. Her poetry and aphorisms are true to her southern roots and her affirmations are founded in her heritage.
