About the Book

In these sermons Jessica McCrae meets us in the middle of our sleepless nights when personal and world issues fill our thoughts and cause us to ask the question "Where is God?" With stories and illustrations relevant to life in the 21st century these meditations on the biblical themes of justice, courage and grace remind us that not only is God with us in our darkest nights, but that we are given the gifts to respond to the issues facing our world that seem insurmountable. In a world that is often troubling and perplexing these sermons remind us that we are not alone and that we each have a role to play as co-creators of a world of justice, hope, and equality for all.

About the Author

Jessica McCrae is a United Church minister who has served congregations in Ontario and Quebec. She currently lives in London serving two rural congregations, St. Andrews Westminster and Littlewood United Churches. Throughout her ministry career she has been involved in various international and community development projects. She loves to travel and hopes one day to bask in the glow of the northern lights.
