One quiet night in a London flat, Detective John Hunter wakes to find an intruder in his bedroom. Harry Gardiner has been a London detective and a private detective. He managed pubs and discotheques in England, Scotland, Spain, and Germany, before starting a career as a writer. Gardiner now lives mainly in Spain with his partner. He is also the author of Double Dealing.
