About the Book

In the twenty-fifth century, the IERS Monitor was a legend and an inspiration to the many citizens of the Interstellar Earth Republic. Its name was spoken with reverence and respect. But in the year 2441, the IERS Monitor was involved in a crucial mission that changed the course of interstellar history forever, and altered the state of relations between the interstellar powers. Captain Zeta Smith of the Monitor was forced to make difficult decisions that ate at his very soul. The senior officers of the Monitor also faced desperate decisions and the vague awareness that they might not survive the mission Captain Smith was leading them on. In the midst of all of this, the crew of the IERS Monitor was given an unofficial nickname: Hestia's Bravest! This is the dramatic and heartfelt sequel to the first Interstellar Monitor novel.

About the Author

Eugene Patrick Ruisi was born and raised in Queens, NY. He is the author of the first Interstellar Monitor novel. He is currently working on the third installment of the Interstellar Monitor saga, which will be the sequel to Interstellar Monitor: Hestia?s Bravest.
