About the Book
This poetry is an easy-to-read collection of thoughts and values rooted in the past, written for today's readers. The down-to-earth expressions can open doors to your sense of being, awaken old memories and offer new meaning each time you read them. They're intimate and personal glimpses of life's experiences and emotions that you can share.
Sometimes sobering, often uplifting, but always reflective, these poems will stir your senses and touch you in many ways.
About the Author
Edward Bird enjoyed the best of two worlds. Born in Pittsburgh, he grew up in small-town Clearfield, Pennsylvania, before returning to "big city life" and an advertising career in Pittsburgh and later Memphis, Tennessee. Now retired in Mississippi, he put years of observations and experiences into rhyme in this volume.
