About the Author
Dr. Mary Joe Clendenin is a retired public school teacher and college professor with degrees from Abilene Christian, New Mexico Highlands and New Mexico State University, all earned during her 40 years of teaching. She is the Author of nine books and writes a weekly column for the local paper.
Don Smart earned his BS in Electrical Engineering and was an Aerospace Engineer for 40 years. He now has time for his second love, history. He has published articles in World War II, WWII and True West Magazines.
