About the Book

Dance describes the life of Dr. Ann Peterson-Higgins. She was definitely "Born to Dance". Ann spent her entire life dancing and brining joy to thousands of people from all walks of life. Dance is shut up in her bones waiting to explode with every expression of movement.

However, like the prophet Jonah who rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord (Jonah I:3), Ann spent some of her early years running from the call that was on her life. Going in the opposite direction of her call took her into night life and bright lights.

In I Was Born to Dance, Ann bares her soul and candidly shares her life experiences, as the hand of God skillfully transformed her from a "star with no light" into a vessel of honor to show forth the brilliant splendor of the Glory of God. This book is especially written to encourage others to also use their giftings to EXPOSE GOD'S GLORY.

About the Author

Dr. Ann Peterson-Higgins was born in Pinders Point, Grand Bahama. She started dancing at the age of fourteen and has over 36 years of dance experience. Ann's life is dance and she has impacted the lives of many through this powerful gift. Dr. Higgins is married to Pastor Henry Higgins and they have six children. Dr. Higgins co-pastors along with her husband at Creative Christian Arts Ministries International in Nassau, Bahamas. She is also the Director of The Bahamas National Liturgical Dance Company as well as Assistant Director and Choreographer of Creative Christian Arts Ministry Performing Arts Academy. She is instrumental in choreographing major national events in her country for the Bahamas Government. Dr Higgins is also employed with The Bahamas Government and oversees Liturgical Dance in the country. Dr Higgins has pioneered Liturgical Dance in The Bahamas for over 20 years. She is also the author of the book The Purpose of the Dance. Dr Higgins travels the world teaching and preaching on the purpose of the dance for the kingdom of god with demonstrations and signs following.
