About the Book

This collection of poems will take you through a pain-filled life in a merciless world. It is the life of the "young", where apathy, anger, fear, delusion, and alcohol reign. In this world, there is always a war being waged in one's mind and the only way out is to travel the depth of life's journey and realize what it takes to find freedom.

About the Author

Derek Montague was born and raised in central Labrador. While attending high school there, he developed a passion for writing. After receiving much encouragement and praise for his writing ability, Derek decided to pursue a Career as an author immediately after graduating from high school. At age eighteen, he began creating The Show. Besides poetry, Derek is currently writing novels, and scripts for stage production. He will also be attending ST. Thomas University, starting in September 2007, to pursue a degree in journalism.
