About the Book
Rob Drake was a cheerful kid from Hopsville, Tennessee, who spent his days playing with his best friend Brian. His happiness comes to an abrupt end, however, when he finds out that his father has received a new job and he will have to move to Hootsville, Georgia, a small farm town. Rob is angry that he has to move and dreads the moment when he will have to say goodbye to his best friend. When Brian hears the news, it depresses him, but he advises his life long friend to stay positive during this difficult time, and tells him to "find the good things." Rob tries to be optimistic, but after months of struggling to adjust he begins to wonder if his best friend's advice was right, and if he will ever be able to adjust to life in Hootsville.
