About the Book
Jada Williams is about to be the director of a new marketing research division. Her career is soaring, but when she meets the woman of her dreams, hers is pummeling faster than the two can handle. When Jada learns the woman she loves has just lost her job, frustration quickly erupts. Tension running high, Jada lashes out words, but Shanice lashes back with her fists. Nevertheless, Jada promises to make their relationship last. When she learns of the violence Shanice endured in her last relationship, Jada is even more convinced to help her overcome the past. About the Author
Denise Alexander, a black lesbian and an honor graduate of South Carolina State University, is an emerging author of African American fiction. A summa cum laude graduate, she has done research internships at the University of Iowa and the University of Minnesota in the areas of behavioral and social science. Also, she has been published in the University of Minnesota?s Proceedings and has contributed to the 2003 & 2004 Summer Research Opportunities Conferences.
