About the Book
The Fifth Age Book I: The Quest of the Stone of Power introduces the mythos of the Stone of Power and the chosen family who is to possess it. A god and a goddess make a bet concerning the fate of the world. There are five chances for the human race to prove their worth in the grand plan of the universe and the Fifth Age is their last chance. Join an unlikely hero named Dyvid Tysonia as his destiny lies with finding the Stone of Power. With him are his fellow companions. An Elf named Telwind, a Dwarf named Durmer, a mage named Dyna and a new species called a Grumpas whose name is Pogwash. As they travel on their quest they face danger, adventure, betrayal, magic, evil and war. The book also reveals something of our present as it mirrors society and the political structure of today. As the story ends, the fate of the Fifth Age has just begun in this ten book series.
About the Author
David Tyson grew up writing short stories and having an expansive imagination. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2005 with a degree in Computer Science and minors in math and history. After going through a divorce, he went back to his first love, which was writing and created the Fifth Age series. The beauty of his home in Reno, Nevada provided much inspiration in creating the world of the Fifth Age.
