About the Book

I invite you to take a minute and turn off the radio of public opinion. Press the off button on the remote that controls the VCR of family traditions and prejudices. Hang up the telephone. Put the pager and cell phone on "All Silence" for a minute. And quietly listen to the Lullabies of Mercy ministered by Christ Jesus himself. They offer comfort and, you will never forget the feeling you will feel when you read them for the first time.

Thank God for Calpatrick Robertson who had the courage and fortitude to pen God's mercies for the African-American Same Gender Loving person. But, lest you think these lullabies too specific, they speak of the unconditional love of God for God's people. That means you! No matter where you are, who you are, what you've done, what you've thought, or anything else, remember, these lullabies are meant just for you.

About the Author

Calpatrick Robertson grew up in the small town of Vidalia, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at a very early age. He moved to New Orleans, La in 1983 after graduating from high school and attended the University of New Orleans. In 1984, he moved to Dallas, Texas (where he currently resides) and has attended DeVry Institute and Southern Bible Institute. He considers himself an avid reader. Some of his favorite authors are Max Lucado and Charles Stanley.

He states that he feels God has placed it on his heart to write this book for anyone who feels that the love of God is outside of his or her grasp. Cal also states, ?It is our responsibility as Christians to let the world know about the life changing love of Jesus Christ and to share our experiences and offer insight.?
