Greg struggles with fears that he and his friend Jon may be gay because they we molested as children by Greg's families Mormon Bishop in their Salt Lake City Avenues neighborhood.

Young Brandon knows that he is not like the other boys but can't figure out exactly what the difference is. He'd never even known what gay was until he comes face to face with his own homosexuality.

Justin finds release and ultimately a stalker by seeking male companionship in Salt Lake area parks and restrooms.

Intrigue abounds as paths cross and their life stories play out. The friends discover sexuality, sexual preference, love and heartache. They come out and go back in (and then come out again). They experience magnificent highs and tragic losses.

This life might just be as terrible and wonderful as it was cracked up to be. You'll never know all the people you'll touch or who may lie ahead as you travel down the path of life.

About the Author

Blake Howell lives in downtown Salt Lake City with his long-time boyfriend and daughter. Besides writing he currently works in advertising and is an accomplished artist, photographer and interior designer. His first novel draws from personal experiences in his own life?growing up gay and coming of age.
