Discontented with her inane life, Rachel Sloane searches for change. She is unwilling to continue the path her mother set, one of material pleasures and self-indulgence. A lost nephew of Rachel's Peruvian maid provides the opportunity for Rachel to recast her life, sending her off to Spain for new adventures, exploits and even romance. Rachel finally awakens to a purposeful life.
