While you are probably aware of the story of the security guard, Richard Jewell, and how he was wrongfully subjected to character assassination at the hands of the F.B.I. and the media, the disturbing tale of Alexander Ryan and of the private terror he endured never made it to the media.

Now at last, Alex tells his side of the story in the stifling prison of a psych unit. It is here that he must come to terms with a madness he feels certain the government has inflicted upon him, and either pick himself up and persevere with the label of insanity, or deliver the most shocking response of all.

About the Author

Alexander Ryan was a classics major at the College of Charleston, where the fabled story of his persecution began in 1996. Some considered him bipolar, while others did not quite know what to consider him.
