Vilynprakah is a 70-poem reflection of life's ultimate journeys by a poet who is not afraid to look candidly at some of the most troubling feelings with which humans wrestle throughout their lifetimes.

Nadirah Alford contemplates the human voyage through some of life's most emotional moments: the ache of lost love, the disappointment of broken promises, the trauma of living in an abusive relationship, and the pain of surrendering one's expectations. Alford openly shares the darkness of these times as well as the new hope that leads to recovery: "So many hearts broken, so many spirits crushed," but "I'm surrounded by the light that holds all with my hope."
