In Inside-Outside War, author Kathy Mansfield shares the story of her son’s experiences in Iraq, beginning an insightful exploration of real war and spiritual war. She delves into the doubts, fears, and perplexities experienced by her son in the war zone and the spiritual lessons she learned while waiting and praying at home.

As Nathanael fought a physical war, Mansfield observed life and discovered there is another war being fought against an unseen enemy. As humans, we fight a war against a deep dark enemy, an enemy that wants our eternal soul. In Inside-Outside War, Mansfield parallels her son’s physical war experience with our spiritual war battles.

About the Author

Kathy Mansfield has published many Editor’s Choice Award poems and has expanded her writing to share Christ and the wisdom and lessons learned through her son’s experience in Iraq. She has two daughters and three sons and lives in the Atlanta, Georgia, area.
