If you want to change your life and create it, this book is for you. If you identify the things that drain you and eliminate them, you will find freedom and space in your life. About the Author
Joanna Engelman is a Certified Life Coach. She received her Certification in Personal Coaching from New York University. She coaches artists in all mediums, entrepreneurs, and women in transtion. She assist them in designing and building the lives they choose. She also conducts workshops combining theater and coaching. Before becoming a coach, Joanna trained and worked as an actress. She acted in theaters all over Manhattan and in dinner theaters out of New York. Wanting to create her own work, she wrote, and acted in a solo show titled, "The Dating Treadmill," which she was nominated for best actress at The Strawberry Festival in midtown Manhattan. Deciding to go back to school to get her MA in Educational Theater from NYU, Joanna began started working as a teaching artist for Theater Development Fund and City Lights Youth Theater, bringing theater workshops to the New York City Public schools. Joanna was delilghted when she discovered the field of coaching. She always believed and devoted herself to continual learning, and personal development. She was always figuring out how to balance and structure her time, and wrtiting and goals setting were every day rituals in her life. When she enrolled in the NYU traning program, she realized that she could bring her own skills and passion to others. As an actress, and entrepreneur, she knows to well the challenges solo practicioners face such as: balancing creativity with paying the bills, managing and structuring time, staying positive and moving forward in the face of rejection and voices from family and society. Joanna Engelman is an active member of The International Coaching Federation, Toastmasters International, The National Speaker's Association, Actor's Equity, and The National Association of Women Business Owners. She sings in cabarets, speaks Spanish, and is a licensed New York City Tour Guide.
