About the Book
Are we there yet?
These are popular words in our journeys. We have heard them as children, as adolescents, and we will hear them as adults as we travel down the roads of experience, and it is our own children who are seated in the back seat, bickering.
In our journeys, we will learn to grow as people and to let our beautiful secrets blossom. And when we write, we will let those secrets bloom and open up into little flowers of poems in vibrant colors. Our roses will stand out among the daisies and weeds.
In our journeys, we come across many paths giving us many opportunities to make choices, to decide if we are there yet, or if we are not. In due time, we will all get there, though it may not be today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, a year from now, or five years from now. There is a place that exists only inside of us.
When we write we can find our there. We can harvest that beautiful secret.
This book is a collection of theres. Theres from all sorts of people and all sorts of minds. Theres from all sorts of gardens and courtyards, all in different stages of development. When we put all of our theres together, we form that beautiful secret that we are all looking for. It lies in our words, our thoughts, our poetry.
We hope you enjoy our theres and the way we see the world.
