About the Book

Josh Hernandez has one goal. He needs to get a position in next year's surgical residency program at Genesee. If he loses that, he'll have to leave town and be separated from his daughter.

He's on the right path until his brother, Dr. Evan Hernandez, is found dead. When the Medical Examiner labels the death a suicide, the police close the case. It's a decision that Josh cannot accept.

As much for himself as for Evan, Josh goes searching for answers. What he discovers is a cover-up. Bringing it to light will surely cost him a spot in the residency program. But Josh refuses to back off and before he knows it he has put himself and those close to him in mortal danger.

Although she does the writing, it?s her physician husband who brings home the stories that spark entire novels. Victoria lives in New York with her husband and three children.
