About the Book

Carlocito, our gentle feline protagonist, runs away from home when his 13-year-old mistress fails to understand his distress at the prospect of being neutered. He discovers that the outside world requires knowledge of the first principles of survival. Even finding sustenance is a challenge for a pampered cat who has eaten nothing but nutritionally engineered cat food all his life.

Fleeing to the heart of the city, he is confronted by a gang of eunuch strays who regard his "wholeness" as an abomination. They threaten their own brand of savage testicle mutilation unless he leaves the city depths immediately.

Will he defeat the eunuchs and their ally, the pantheresque El Gato, who has laid claim to Carlocito's feline love, the beautiful Peri? And will he be able to return to his beloved human mistress Jaydah, who has fallen deathly ill?

About the Author

The author, who lives in Middleton, Wisconsin, wrote this feline bio as a remembrance for a granddaughter who loved a cat named Carlocito. The cat, like all things living, eventually passed on, but he hasn't been forgotten.
