About the Book

This is a collection of writings by a tortured soul. Most of these were written in the darkest times of heartache and depression. Warning, some of these poems have been known to turn poem haters into poem lovers. Full of twists and spins, highs and lows, there's bound to be something for everyone in this book. About the Author

Sarah Spiers, born on a cold winter Missouri night, has grown up to become a Corrections Officer in a local Missouri state prison. In her free time she enjoys writing poetry, mostly dark, and depicting depression. Often she goes under the alias?a tortured soul.
