A Marine and Vietnam Veteran with over 25 successful years in the structured corporate world, Schade acknowledges early in his book that his formal religious expertise is imperfect, yet his objectives are clear; ?I am simply a middle-aged man, often called 'Traveler' by my friends, trying to acknowledge that his journey in this life will in time reach an end, and failing to travel on the true road to God would be an eternal mistake on my part."
