With experience in the college classroom and in corporate America, her "mission" continues to be to educate, to inform and to share information that ultimate increases the quality of life for her readers and her students.

Alice and husband, Ron, continue to share daily cups of decaf in Austin, where both enjoy the Hill Country views of Central Texas.

About the Author

A journalist for over 20 years, Alice Adams writes regularly for the Houston Chronicle, The Jewish Hearld?Voice, and a multitude of magazine articles. Her Texas roots are visible in much of her writing as is her pride in her family and her pleasure in guiding people to discovery and learning.

Her career has spanned more than 30 years and includes newspaper reporting and column writing and experiences that include high tech, big business and the college classroom.

The mother of two sons?still the loves of her life after all these years, Alice and her husband Ron live in Austin where they spend each day enjoying another adventure with friends, family and their four ?grand-darlings.?
