About the Author
Richard S. Scarsella is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He is a summa cum laude Boston College graduate and has earned two Masters in Science degrees at Youngstown State University. Mr. Scarsella is a local historian, educator, newspaper writer, and president of the William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society.
