About the Book
A minister in Berwick, Illinois is found dead in his study, an apparent suicide. Or is it? The deceased minister's widow leads a crusade to find the killer in spite of small town politics and a vicious rumor mill. Her story collides with that of two brothers from the hills of Kentucky, who develop an evangelistic ministry from small town tent meetings all the way to being the most popular religious show on TV. The case is investigated by Frank Falcone, a retired Chicago Police Department detective now living in Berwick. This story interweaves the exploits of the minister's widow, her new boyfriend, Detective Falcone, local politicians and Sheriffs, two brothers who make it big in evangelism, a prostitute turned minister's wife, and many others- into a surprise and bloody ending.
