About the Book

After withdrawing from full-time ministry due to hurts and feelings of failure, PJ Nunn came face to face with a physical battle that threatened to take her life and her salvation. She learned from experience that the depths of God’s love and forgiveness go far beyond the depths of despair and His strength is more than enough to bring victory in the darkest of nights. Saved, healed and established in the righteousness that Christ purchased for all of us, God called her to a new position—first as a recruit and now as an instructor in Basic Invader Training.

What is spiritual boot camp? Practice. More practice. Practice until our hands feel empty unless they’re holding a sword. Practice until the only thing that seems natural on our lips is the Word of God, or words that are in agreement with God. Practice until we’ve won so many battles the idea of backing down is laughable. Practice until we look more like Him than ourselves.

Seized With a Promise is a powerful testimony, but it’s more than that. It’s a challenge; a call to war. Is there a warrior in your house?

PJ Nunn has been married for 28 years to Evangelist David P. Nunn, Sr. Together they’ve shared more than 25 years in pastoral and evangelistic ministry. She lives with her husband and five children near Waxahachie, TX and is currently pursuing a PhD in Pastoral Ministries.
