The Season of the Long Shadow, the second book in the "Messenger Series" of Redpath novels, refers to an ancient Native American prophecy that is already passing over this land and warns of events which will affect everyone. About the Author

Patrick Speaking Wind Quirk, a Native American SHAMAN, author and lecturer, was raised by Grandfather, Two Bears, and White Eagle of the Pueblo People. These Spirit Callers watched over and educated him for almost twenty years of his early life in the mountains of northern New Mexico.
