About the Author

Nyja Tapscott, the daughter of the late, critically acclaimed jazz musician Horace Tapscott, has written poetry since childhood. She is the author of plays, numerous poems, speeches, and short stories, and is currently writing her first novel. Ms. Tapscott lives in Los Angeles with her two sons.
