Within these pages the reader will find the unique opportunity to explore the "real" goings on in the minds of our youth. Over three dozen young, 6th grade authors have exposed their innermost feelings and thoughts with anyone willing to listen to their tales of woe, happiness, joy, love and rage. The mix of poetry, fiction and short essays makes for an enjoyable, balanced read for readers of all ages.

About the Author

More than three dozen authors from Travis Middle School of Amarillo, Texas have contributed their most recent and poignant works to the content within. Travis has a unique treasure trove of cultures, ethnicities and personalities that can be found nowhere else in our city. A reflection of these diversities are found between these covers.
