About the Book

This poetry was written during a difficult time in my (teenage) life: the loss of my first love. We have all lost someone or something dear to us. These poems express the hurt and pain that I felt as I worked to overcome my grief. They helped me, as I hope they will help you, to understand and escape the emptiness and to accept the journey of life.

About the Author

Michelle Robbins is a twenty-year-old who was born and raised in New Hampshire. She is now a junior at a small college in Massachusetts majoring in paralegal studies.

Michelle enjoys swimming and running and has recently taken up the guitar and piano. But there is always time for poetry.
