About the Author

Lisanne D'Andrea-Winslow earned a PhD in Cell Biology at Rutgers University and is Associate Professor of Biology at Northwestern College. She has authored three collections of poetry, Voyaging Pendulum, Sapphires and New Beginnings, and numerous scientific papers. Dr. D'Andrea-Winslow lives in Bayport MN, with her family, John, Arianna and Sophia.
