About the Book

These songs are the sensitive, sometimes delicate, always musical writings of a young schizophrenic. The poetry was written when his heart was touched, when he pined for God, when he wept, when he was joyful, when he was heartbroken and when he was filled with rage and nightmares. Readers will love these free-flowing and loosely constructed verses.

About the Author

Jason Stuart Ratcliff was born in California in 1972 and grew up in Aurora, Colorado. At the age of 17 he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and spent the next two years in various institutions, where he began writing stories and poetry. He currently lives in Denver.
