Ten short stories designed to imitate and mock some of the great fictional detectives of the 20th Century in a unique and entertaining style. This is a surreal but very humorous insight into the crime genre.

James Heafield and crime-solving partner Oliver Bradbury are two detectives who investigate murders. Individually neither can admit to being too bright but, with help from each other, they somehow manage to trace the killers and arrest them. Along the way, Heafield and Bradbury come across many sub-plots, unusual situations and recurring characters that will have you laughing for hours at quick-witted one-liners.

About the Author

James Heafield is a young and up-coming author who has an exceptional talent in writing comedy. Heafield was born in Manchester in 1987, and soon moved south where he was brought up reading the works of Douglas Adams and Raymond Chandler, which is where he found his inspiration for writing.
