About the Author

J. Ellen Fedder holds a bachelor?s degree in family life education and a master?s degree in special education. She has taught over 25 years in public schools, private schools, home school, and as a private tutor. Her teaching experiences have taken her to the Arctic and rain forest of Alaska, to a North Dakota reservation, and to various communities of the Pacific Northwest.
