About the Book
The best, the most important art you can make is your self. Create the best personality you know how.
Experiment and manipulate your looks, smile, mannerisms and everything about your being. This resident artist is yourself!
Everything the self does to improve your personality is recorded in the developing brain fibers. It leaves biological traces that predispose you to think, feel, act and react along pathways you wanted to undertake. This is how your personality and character become set.
The self develops within a society. Every achievement, commitment and attempts to move forward or any other direction is noted by others. Create social momentums towards people, open doors, careers, professions, opportunities and unknown avenues. These are parts of your reputation that will survive you after you die.
The most significant artwork you can make is not a painting or a sculpture; it is yourself!
About the Author
I'm a practicing outsider artist, a trained philosopher who holds a Ph.D. in philosophy. I've written and published, My Taoist Vision of Art and Surviving WWII As A Child Swamp Hermit. This book is the outcome of my years of introspection and personal experiences of doing outside sculptures and various art media during the past 18 years.
My insights and conclusions about mental art is unique, original and revolutionary.
I live with my wife in Cape Coral, Fl. in winter and Boone, NC in summer, where I continue to write and do artwork for my pleasure.
