About the Book

Francine Elizabeth Natal is a self-published Poet and a Published Author of the following books: Every Rose Has A Thorn: A collection of Poems, a self-published book published by Infinity Publishing. Also, The Assortment: A Collection of Poems. She has a passion for writing poetry, which is solely her self-expression of how she appreciates life. With her poetic voice she writes about life and what it has to offer all of humanity from Joys to Hurts or mere Discontents. She is Pro-Literacy and thus uses as her platform whenever she is invited to speak publicly, the reality of how a passion for reading made it possible for her to become a published Author and Poet. She believes that in order for her African and American community to remain strong, Africa the core of its birth must be celebrated and remembered. This principle is finely portrayed as an (EPIC) in the poem entitled Elders Give Us Hope! She possesses a strong passion for love and redemption, which she embraces by her spirituality and faith in the Creator and Jesus Christ (YESHUA).

About the Author

I am a native Philadelphian, I was born Francine Elizabeth Green on September the seventh, year nineteen seventy-three to Larry Green Sr. and Gwendolyn Elizabeth Green. My parents taught me to believe in The Creator and His power to heal as the remedy for ills in society and in my personal life. I was married to Samuel Robert Natal on June twenty-fourth year two thousand. My marriage has impacted my life in a special way. Being married has taught me the essence of sharing life with my soul mate, an interdependency that was meant to be. My poetic flow is more spiritual than carnal. I am inspired to write by everything: my marriage life, my family, my struggles, joy, sorrow, death, life, and above all my Creator. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
