About the Author

Growing up on the Illinois River in Oklahoma, Tim LaBeau spent many days dreaming and playing on its riverbanks. It has taken many years to create a book out of these thoughts and dreams. Tim LaBeau enjoys camping and hiking. He has incorporated his practical experience into this book, including the shelter he built. When not teaching school, Tim can be found daydreaming about faraway adventures, while still living on the Illinois (Sinoli) River.
