About the Book
Josette returns home from work at 5 a.m. to discover that the past three years with her husband has been a lie. Her husband reveals that he is gay and in love with another man, and wants a divorce.
Josette's marriage is shattered and her life is in shambles. She is going through rough times and is living in a fog; a state of surrealism, when her best friend rescues her and sends her to an island getaway.
Here she meets Brandon and falls in love. She is not yet divorced but has found herself in the midst of a heated romance.
She begins to plan a life with Brandon when his ambitions lead him away from her. Brandon ends up having an affair, and Josette is faced with heartbreak all over again. This time around she deals with it differently. The end result brings her great fulfillment and happiness. A Day in the Sun is a story of love lost, and love rediscovered.
