About the Author

Option for Murder is Albert Elias's fourth published work since his retirement. He first wrote two science fiction novels, The Bowman Test and The Sonora Mutation, published by Avon and Dell. He shares the wisdom of his years and the wit of an experienced mind in a remarkable memoir, She Was Eighteen and a Half. The life story traces his youth in New York City during the Great Depression, his experience on D-Day, and his marriage and children. After his time serving in the Army Corp of Engineers, Albert Elias became a merchandiser with Macy's, then a successful marketing executive in the pharmaceutical business. Elias lives with his wife, Rea, the beloved subject of his memoir title, on Jupiter Island, Florida.
