About the Book

Constant Forces Reign

Sadness and gladness
Are one and the same
Tears and laughter
Should have the same name
Opposite emotions
Which toy with the mind
Minus one
The other you'll not find
Bring on the tears
There's a laugh for each drop
Let sadness prevail
Till its time comes to stop
The sun still shines
The moon still glows
When they cease to give
I'll think about it again

Delve into the world of poet Vincent Tozzi in this honest portrait of life that spans decades. Beginning with "The Loving Sixties" and ending with "The New Millennium", Tozzi takes a look at the last forty years through a compelling mixture of poetry.

His poems tackle a gamut of emotions from anger, love, and grief, to passion and pain. Each decade shows the progression of Tozzi's thoughts and feelings about a variety of subjects including the angst of young love, the changing role of society, the AIDS epidemic, and growing older.
