About the Book

Despondent after his wife divorces him, Trace McCord, a modern-day bounty hunter, plunges from a pinnacle previously unknown in his profession and sort of attempts suicide. When the endeavor fails, he spends the next several months in a private hospital recovering from his injuries. While he heals, mentally and physically, he reminisces about his life through a series of flashbacks growing up in Queens, New York-how he became a bounty hunter-fulfilling the legal requirements-the men he worked for and the men he hunted with-the fugitives he apprehended from coast to coast and in Europe-the women he loved-and the love he lost.

About the Author

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Andrew F. Rickis was a West Granby, Connecticut resident for 18 years. After living in the Florida Keys for 22 years, the author and his wife Lucille currently reside in South Florida. They have two children. An avid tennis player, the former printer also enjoys playing chess, growing bonsai plants and travelling the globe gathering material for his writing.
