About the Book

Enduring a most vengeful childhood in the Philippines, Angelina evolves into the very image of an American woman. It's the others around her that seem to forget appearances are not accurate portrayals of a person's true self. She came into the world as the "Devil's Child" and spent her life fighting against the stigma it evoked.

Her first love denied his vow to marry her and left her with child. The man she did marry was merely a stepping stone to the United States, but as she realizes too late he grew to be much more. Her most passionate love, she discovers, is a dangerous one. Far more dangerous to her heart and soul than anyone could imagine.

Share in her adventures, trials, and revelations. You may find that human stories do not harbor more sobering experiences than in the pages that follow.

About the Author

Born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in Indiana, now resides in Glenwood, Iowa. Owning restaurants, a construction company, managing a fairgrounds and now involved in land management.

Losing his wife of forty-six years was a devastating blow and left him without purpose. The thought of someday becoming an author never crossed his mind until he became fascinated by a young woman who shared her childhood in the Philippines with him.

?The lives of others and the suffering they endure somehow endears us to them.? Jim became very eager to tell her story.

As a first time author, the difficulties were numerous, and if not for some very dear friends, Let Her Cry might never have reached publication.
